Biography:
Early exposure to activities such as backpacking in the Sierras, hiking in marine reserves, maintaining a car, travelling to faraway lands, and visiting many museums, nurtured Lieke's love for learning. Having this exposure influenced her to pursue an engineering degree, fostering a lifelong interest in math and science. Over the past 10 years, she has enjoyed a career as a systems analyst, in which her interests and abilities culminated. She maintains several hobbies including puzzling, reading, art, and a variety of sports. Currently, she is enjoying her 3-year old son who has an insatiable appetite for all the wonders around him, and reminds her to never stop learning.
