Biography:
As long as Mozy can remember, art has been a part of her life and a part of her being. She has dedicated her professional life to helping others discover and develop their creative talents. Mozy graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Art. After college she moved to Florence, Italy for a year to enrich her art foundation as well as her global understanding. Upon her return she taught preschool, worked in a Southwest art gallery, and worked in desktop publishing and computer illustration for a number of years. However, she found her true calling to be teaching. She received her teaching credential in Art from SFSU and she has been teaching art at Sequoia High School since January 1996. At Sequoia, Mozy has had the opportunity to teach a wide range of art classes from introductory art, to ceramics, and upper level drawing, painting, and sculpture classes. It brings her great joy to share with others the ability to communicate powerfully through the language of visual art.
