ISBN

ISBN stands for International Standard Book Number. It is a unique, identifying number assigned to a book by its publisher. This allows for more efficient marketing of products by booksellers, libraries, universities, wholesalers and distributors. The ISBN is located on the back of the book in the lower right hand corner and/or on the back of the title page. It is usually a 10 digit number, but can be up to 13 digits.
